  • I am a Clinical Social Worker based in Nova Scotia, registered to operate in private practice as a clinical specialist. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Waterloo. I am Parnell Institute trained in Attachment-Focused EMDR. I am trained in IFS Parts Work, Trauma-Focused ACT, ACT for Depression & Anxiety, ACT for Perfectionism & People Pleasing, and CBT for Anxiety. My professional journey has been deeply influenced by my personal interests in attachment theory, human connection, and a holistic view of our mind, body and spirit. My integrative and carefully informed approach guides me in helping others in a way that feels both genuine and relatable while upholding high standards of care. I am committed to life long learning and annual training, consultation, and reviewing modern research.

Outside of my therapist role, you’ll likely find me at home with my Doberman; Wes, connecting with nature, or enjoying movement through tennis, Pilates, and yoga. I strive for a balanced lifestyle, embracing whole foods, a daily dose of chocolate, and moments of mindfulness. I am committed to my own therapeutic process and staying connected to my support circle in order to maintain my own wellness and take a seat in the client chair. We can all benefit from this work.
